ISA Liaison and Representation
Representation
ISA is represented on a number of national education committees, including Education Council working groups, Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment working groups and steering committees, Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) working groups and other government and statutory bodies. Participation on these national bodies is an important way that ISCA represents the Independent school sector at the national level.
ISA’s involvement on these committees helps ensure that the sector’s interests are taken into account as policies are being formed which may impact on the operations of Independent schools. There is close collaboration between ISA and its member Associations so that appropriately skilled representation is selected.
