In this submission, Independent Schools Australia (ISA) highlights the Independent school sector’s strong commitment to inclusive education, and calls for ongoing investment in schooling supports to enable all schools to deliver on the Standards. ISA’s submission emphasises that any changes to the Disability Standards for Education must be fair, practical, and avoid imposing undue workload pressures or administrative and regulatory burdens on schools.
ISA prepared this submission in response to the Australian Government’s review of the 2025 Disability Standards for Education, in consultation with the member state and territory Associations of Independent Schools.
