This submission was provided by Independent Schools Australia (ISA) to the Australian Government Department of Education’s Anti-Bullying Rapid Review to inform the development of a consistent national standard to address bullying in schools.
ISA’s Submission calls for a national standard to address bullying which is flexible and adaptable to the unique contexts of individual schools and communities. By prioritising student safety and wellbeing, engaging families and communities, and providing adequate support for teachers, schools can create a more effective and impactful approach to reducing bullying.
