ISCA Parliamentary Forum 2008

The ISCA Parliamentary Forum was held in Canberra on 1 – 2 September 2008 and provided an opportunity for over 200 sector representatives to meet and discuss national education issues.

The following speakers addressed the forum.

Three workshops were held to enable Forum delegates to focus on key national issue

  • Garry Le Duff, Executive Director, AISSA/National Curriculum Board member

Future Issues for Digital Usage in Schools Workshop

    • Susan Mann, Chief Executive Officer, Curriculum Corporation
    • Kevin Richardson, Principal, Immanuel College, SA


Rewarding Teachers Workshop

  • Dr Lawrence Ingvarson, Principal Research Fellow, ACER
  • Estelle Lewis, Director: Teacher Accreditation, AISNSW
  • Garth Wynne, Headmaster, Christ Church Grammar School, WA

At the conclusion of the workshops, delegates had the opportunity to attend Question Time in Parliament House.
